The formula to calculate the number of access points is:

\[ APs = \frac{TSA}{C} \]

Where:

\( APs \) is the Number of Access Points
\( TSA \) is the Total Service Area (users)
\( C \) is the Capacity per Access Point (users/AP)

What is an Access Point?

An access point is a device that allows other devices to connect and communicate through a network. It extends the range of a wireless network and provides connectivity to multiple devices.

Example Calculation

Let's assume the following values:

Total Service Area (TSA): 500 users
Capacity per Access Point (C): 50 users/AP

Using the formula to calculate the number of access points:

\[ APs = \frac{500}{50} = 10 \]

The number of access points needed is 10.
