The formula to calculate the Adverse Impact Ratio (AIR) is:

\[ AIR = \frac{SRm}{SRM} \]

Where:

Adverse Impact Ratio (AIR): A measure used to determine if there is a discriminatory effect in employment practices.
Selection Rate for Minority Group (SRm): The rate at which the minority group is selected.
Selection Rate for Majority Group (SRM): The rate at which the majority group is selected.

Let's say the selection rate for the minority group (SRm) is 0.2, and the selection rate for the majority group (SRM) is 0.5. Using the formula:

\[ AIR = \frac{0.2}{0.5} = 0.4 \]
