The formula to calculate the Amounts Generally Billed (AGB) is:

\[ AGB = \left( \frac{SCA}{SGC} \right) \times 100 \]

Where:

Amounts Generally Billed (AGB): The ratio or percentage of the total amount of claims allowed by health insurers to the sum of the gross charges.
Sum of Claims Allowed (SCA): The total amount of claims allowed by health insurers.
Sum of Gross Charges (SGC): The total amount of gross charges.

Let's say the sum of claims allowed (SCA) is $500,000, and the sum of gross charges (SGC) is $1,000,000. Using the formula:

\[ AGB = \left( \frac{500,000}{1,000,000} \right) \times 100 = 50 \% \]

So, the amounts generally billed is 50%.
