Formula

The formula to calculate the monthly app revenue (AR) is:

\[ AR = \frac{D \times ARPU \times MAU}{1000} \]

Where:

$ AR $ is the monthly app revenue
$ D $ is the daily active users (DAU)
$ ARPU $ is the average revenue per user
$ MAU $ is the monthly active users

Definitions

App Revenue: The income generated from a mobile application, which can be derived from various sources such as direct sales, in-app purchases, subscriptions, and advertising.

Example

Let's say the daily active users (DAU) is 1000, the average revenue per user (ARPU) is $0.50, and the monthly active users (MAU) is 30000. Using the formula:

\[ AR = \frac{1000 \times 0.50 \times 30000}{1000} \]

We get:

\[ AR = 15000 \, \text{USD} \]

So, the monthly app revenue is $15,000.
