The formula to calculate the Density Percentage (DP) is:

$DP = \frac{ED}{MD} \times 100$

Where:

Density Percentage (DP): The percentage of the density of an element relative to the density of a mixture.
Density of the Element (ED): The density of the individual element, measured in g/cm³.
Density of the Mixture (MD): The density of the mixture, measured in g/cm³.

Let's say the density of the element (ED) is 2.5 g/cm³ and the density of the mixture (MD) is 5 g/cm³. Using the formula:
