To calculate the Diamond Size (DS):

$DS = \frac{A \times D \times C}{B \times E}$

Where:

$DS$ is the Diamond Size (mm³)
$A$ is the length of the diamond (mm)
$D$ is the width of the diamond (mm)
$C$ is the depth of the diamond (mm)
$B$ is a constant factor
$E$ is a constant factor

What is Diamond Size?

Diamond size refers to the physical dimensions or weight of a diamond, typically measured in carats. One carat is equivalent to 200 milligrams. The size of a diamond is one of the most significant factors that determine its value, along with its cut, color, and clarity, collectively known as the 4Cs.

Example Calculation

Let's assume the following values:

Length $A$ = 5 mm
Width $D$ = 5 mm
Depth $C$ = 3 mm
Constant Factor $B$ = 0.5
Constant Factor $E$ = 0.5

Step 1: Multiply the length, width, and depth of the diamond:

$A \times D \times C = 5 \times 5 \times 3 = 75$

Step 2: Divide the result by the product of the constant factors:

$DS = \frac{75}{0.5 \times 0.5} = \frac{75}{0.25} = 300 \text{ mm³}$

The Diamond Size is 300 mm³.
