The formula to calculate the Energy Resolution (ER) is:

\[ ER = \frac{FWHM \times 100}{PP} \]

Where:

Energy Resolution (ER): A measure of the percent of energy of incoming photons on an imaging device.
Full Width Half Maximum (FWHM): The width of the peak at half its maximum height.
Photo Peak (PP): The peak value of the photon energy distribution.

Let's say the full width half maximum (FWHM) is 5 and the photo peak (PP) is 100. Using the formula:

\[ ER = \frac{5 \times 100}{100} \]

We get:

\[ ER = 5 \% \]

So, the energy resolution is 5%.
