The formula to calculate the Homework Time (HT) is:

\[ HT = \frac{T \times A}{D} \]

Where:

\( HT \) is the homework time (hours/day)
\( T \) is the total number of tasks
\( A \) is the average time taken to complete one task (hours)
\( D \) is the number of days available to complete the tasks

Definitions

Homework Time (HT): The amount of time that should be dedicated each day to homework in order to complete all tasks within the given timeframe.
Total Number of Tasks (T): The total number of homework tasks assigned.
Average Time per Task (A): The average amount of time taken to complete one homework task.
Number of Days Available (D): The number of days available to complete the homework tasks.

Example

Let's say the total number of tasks (T) is 10, the average time per task (A) is 2 hours, and the number of days available (D) is 5. Using the formula:

\[ HT = \frac{10 \times 2}{5} \]

We get:

\[ HT = 4 \text{ hours/day} \]

So, the homework time is 4 hours per day.
