Example Calculation

Let's assume the following values:

Using the formula:

\[ \alpha = 12 - (0.5 + 0.85 \times (0.4 - 0.5)) \]

Evaluating:

\[ \alpha = 12 - (0.5 + 0.85 \times -0.1) \]

\[ \alpha = 12 - (0.5 - 0.085) \]

\[ \alpha = 12 - 0.415 \]

\[ \alpha = 11.585 \]

Jensen's Alpha is 11.585%.
