The formula to calculate the material velocity (Vm) is:

\[ Vm = \sqrt{\frac{G}{d}} \]

Where:

Material Velocity: The measure of the speed at which shear waves propagate through a material.

Let's say the shear modulus (G) is 30,000,000 Pa, and the density of the material (d) is 2500 kg/m³. Using the formula:

\[ Vm = \sqrt{\frac{30,000,000}{2500}} \]

We get:

So, the material velocity is approximately 109.54 m/s.
