Formula

The formula to calculate the maximum torque (Tmax) is:

\[ Tmax = \frac{5252}{RS} \times HP \]

Where:

Maximum Torque (Tmax): The highest amount of torque that an engine can produce.
Rotational Speed (RS): The speed at which the engine or a component rotates, measured in revolutions per minute (RPM).
Horsepower (HP): A unit of measurement for power, indicating the engine's ability to perform work over time.

Let's say the max rotational speed is 6000 RPM and the max horsepower is 300 hp. Using the formula:

\[ Tmax = \frac{5252}{6000} \times 300 \]

We get:

\[ Tmax = 262.6 \]

So, the maximum torque (\( Tmax \)) is 262.6 lb-ft.
