To calculate the Print Size (S):

\[ S = \frac{P}{PPI} \]

Where:

\(S\) is the size of the length or width
\(P\) is the pixels along one direction
\(PPI\) is the number of pixels per inch

Pixel to Print Size Definition

Converting pixels to a print size is done by dividing the pixels along the length and the height by the number of pixels per inch that the printed page is specified for. The pixel per inch is a measure of the resolution of the printer.

Example Calculation 1

Let's assume the following values:

Pixels (P) = 3000
Pixels Per Inch (PPI) = 300

Using the formula:

\[ S = \frac{3000}{300} = 10 \text{ inches} \]

The Print Size is 10 inches.

Example Calculation 2

Let's assume the following values:

Pixels (P) = 4500
Pixels Per Inch (PPI) = 150

Using the formula:

\[ S = \frac{4500}{150} = 30 \text{ inches} \]

The Print Size is 30 inches.
