The formula to calculate the Redshift Distance (RD) is:

\[ RD = \frac{v}{H} \]

Where:

Redshift Distance: The distance to an astronomical object based on its redshift, which is the displacement of spectral lines toward longer wavelengths (the red end of the spectrum) due to the expansion of the universe.
Velocity (v): The speed at which the object is moving away from the observer, measured in kilometers per second (km/s).
Hubble Constant (H): The rate of expansion of the universe, measured in kilometers per second per megaparsec (km/s/Mpc).

Let's say the velocity is 3000 km/s and the Hubble Constant is 70 km/s/Mpc. Using the formula:

\[ RD = \frac{3000}{70} \]

We get:

\[ RD \approx 42.86 \text{ Mpc} \]

So, the redshift distance is approximately 42.86 Mpc.
