Formula

The formula to calculate the total website ad revenue is:

\[ WR = \frac{RPM \times \text{Pageviews}}{1000} \]

Where:

$WR$ is the total website revenue for that day
$RPM$ is the revenue per one thousand visitors
Pageviews is the total number of pageviews

Website Ad Revenue Definition

Website ad revenue is considered all revenue generated from the showing of display advertisements on your website. This does not include affiliate commissions.

Example Calculations

Example 1:

Revenue Per Mille (RPM) = $5
Total Pageviews = 10,000

Using the formula:

\[ WR = \frac{5 \times 10000}{1000} = 50 \, \text{dollars} \]

The total website revenue (WR) is $50.

Example 2:

Revenue Per Mille (RPM) = $3
Total Pageviews = 20,000

Using the formula:

\[ WR = \frac{3 \times 20000}{1000} = 60 \, \text{dollars} \]

The total website revenue (WR) is $60.
