The formula to calculate the steam production in pounds per hour (Lbs/Hr) is:

\[ L = HP \times F \]

Where:

Boiler Horsepower (HP): A unit of measurement used to express the power output of a steam boiler. One boiler horsepower is defined as the ability to evaporate 34.5 pounds of water into steam at 212 degrees Fahrenheit per hour.
Steam Production (Lbs/Hr): The amount of steam produced by the boiler in pounds per hour.

Let's say the Boiler Horsepower (HP) is 10. Using the default factor (F) of 34.5, the steam production is calculated as follows:

\[ L = 10 \times 34.5 \]

We get:
