The formula to calculate the bucket capacity (BC) is:

\[ BC = V \times \left(\frac{FF}{100}\right) \]

Where:

Bucket Capacity: Refers to the actual volume of material that a bucket can hold when in use. It takes into account the fill factor, which is influenced by material characteristics, bucket shape, and operating conditions. The fill factor is usually given as a percentage and indicates how full the bucket will be when performing its intended function.

Let's say the volume of the bucket (V) is 2 cubic meters and the fill factor (FF) is 80%. Using the formula:

\[ BC = 2 \times \left(\frac{80}{100}\right) \]

We get:

\[ BC = 1.6\, \text{cubic meters} \]

So, the bucket capacity is 1.6 cubic meters.
