The formula to calculate the Calls Per Second (CPS) is:

\[ CPS = \frac{TC}{TP} \]

Where:

Calls Per Second (CPS): The number of telephone calls processed in one second by a telecommunications network or call center.
Total Number of Calls (TC): The total number of calls processed.
Time Period (TP): The duration over which the calls are measured, in seconds.

Let's say the total number of calls is 500 and the time period is 100 seconds. Using the formula:

\[ CPS = \frac{500}{100} \]

We get:

\[ CPS = 5 \]

So, the Calls Per Second (\( CPS \)) is 5.
