Where:

\(DP\) is the Delay Percentage (%)
\(DT\) is the total delay time (ms, s, min)
\(TT\) is the total overall time (ms, s, min)

What is Delay Percentage?

Delay percentage is a measure of the proportion of time that is delayed relative to the total time. It is calculated by dividing the total delay time by the total overall time and then multiplying by 100.

Example Calculations

Example 1:

Total Delay Time (DT): 5 minutes
Total Overall Time (TT): 50 minutes

Using the formula:

\[ DP = \left(\frac{5}{50}\right) \times 100 = 10\% \]

Example 2:

Total Delay Time (DT): 2 seconds
Total Overall Time (TT): 20 seconds

Using the formula:

\[ DP = \left(\frac{2}{20}\right) \times 100 = 10\% \]
