\[ V_{\text{led}} = V_{\text{s}} - R \cdot I \]

What is LED Voltage?

Example Calculation

Let's assume the following values:

LED Current (I) = 0.02 amps (20 mA)

Using the formula:

\[ V_{\text{led}} = 9 - (200 \cdot 0.02) = 9 - 4 = 5 \text{ volts} \]

The LED Voltage (V_led) is 5 volts.
