To calculate PPM from MCG:

\[ \text{PPM} = \frac{\text{MCG}}{\text{V}} / 1000 \]

Where:

\(\text{PPM}\) is the Parts Per Million
\(\text{MCG}\) is the Total Micrograms
\(\text{V}\) is the Total Volume (m³)

What is MCG?

MCG, short for microgram, is a unit of measure that is equal to 1/1000th of a gram. To convert this value into PPM, you must know the volume the mass occupies.

Example Calculation

Let's assume the following values:

Total Micrograms (\(\text{MCG}\)) = 5000 mcg
Total Volume (\(\text{V}\)) = 2 m³

Using the formula:

\[ \text{PPM} = \frac{5000}{2} / 1000 = 2.5 \]

The Parts Per Million is 2.5 ppm.
