What is Pipe Slope?

Example Calculation 1

Let's assume the following values:

Pipe Fall (\(PF\)) = 2 ft
Pipe Length (\(PL\)) = 100 ft

Using the formula:

\[ PS = \frac{2}{100} \times 100 = 2% \]

The Pipe Slope is 2%.

Example Calculation 2

Let's assume the following values:

Pipe Fall (\(PF\)) = 1.5 ft
Pipe Length (\(PL\)) = 50 ft

Using the formula:

\[ PS = \frac{1.5}{50} \times 100 = 3% \]
